Synopsis: Based on actual events that took place in Guangzhao's,Wong Po village in 1991-1996.During five years of terror Li Wenxian raped and murdered thirteen women,mostly prostitutes.Li told authorities he was seeking revenge for a prostitute who cheated him.Lau Shu-bill(Chan Kwok-Bong)is a serial killer.He murders prostitutes in very nasty ways.He wants to dispatch these filthy women,releasing them from their misery and giving them a better shot in the next life.This HK sickie is very well-made and has some rather unpleasant scenes of sexual violence and butchery.There is also plenty of sleazy sex to satisfy fans of exploitation cinema.Chan Kwok-Bong is frighteningly realistic as a sicko killer.The film is not for everyone,but if you're into extreme Asian cinema give this one a look.

Synopsis: Film diawali dengan dua orang polisi bernama Eros (Ario Bayu) dan Hendro Waluyo (August Melasz) yang menginvestigasi sebuah kasus pembakaran lima orang oleh massa karena kelima orang itu diteriaki maling. Kemudian film berlanjut ke kehidupan seorang jurnalis yang hidupnya gamang karena diceraikan istrinya Sari (Shanty) dan dibebastugaskan dari pencarian bertianya, Janus (Fachri Albar). Janus mempunyai sebuah penyakit bernama Narkolepsi yang dimana sang penderita terlalu berkerja keras sedikit, maka ia akan jatuh tertidur. Setelah terlambat dari sidang perceraian, Janus meneliti kasus pembakaran lima orang, dimana ia bertemu dengan seorang wanita hamil bernama Ratih yang mana merupakan istri salah satu korban. Tidak bisa mendapat informasi, Janus menyembunyikan sebuah tape recorder disela-sela pot tumbuhan dekat Ratih yang saat itu tengah berbicara dengan seorang perawat. Lalu, saat Janus keluar dari rumah sakit sebentar, ia melihat Ratih ditabrak oleh bus dan mobil, dan narkolepsi Januspun berjalan. Ia kemudian terbangun di rumah sakit dan mengambil kasetnya.
Malamnya, Janus bersama temannya Soebandi makan malam dan mendengarkan bersama hasil rekaman. Saat rekaman, tiba-tiba terdengar sebuah lantunan prosa berbahasa jawa berbunyi: Wonten Bukit Bendonowongso, wonten ngajeng Candi Pitu Anak Tangga (Ada di Bukit Bendonowongso, adanya di depan Candi Tujuh Anak Tangga). Setelah selesai, Janus berpisah dengan Soebandi yang sudah berkemas dan pergi ke rumahnya yang kos. Soebandi terus diikuti sesosok makhluk bernama Pindoro (Jose Rizal Manua) yang berakhir dengan dirinya terpenggal oleh sesuatu. Keesokan harinya, Janus dibawa ke kantor polisi untuk diinterogasi Eros, saat Eros meninggalkannya sebentar, seorang kepala polisi bernama Bambang (Frans Tumbuan) memaksanya untuk memberitahu isi rekaman miliknya.
Esoknya, setelah meminta alamat dari rumah sakit Janus pergi ke rumah Ratih. Disana, ia menemui seorang penduduk disana yang menceritakan bahwa Ratih, suaminya, dan ayahnya Ronggoweni (Sujiwo Tejo) meninggal dalam jangka waktu seminggu. Yang misterius, pada malam hari dulu, banyak para pejabat bertamu ke rumah Ronggoweni tersebut tanpa mengetahui maksud kedatangannya. Setelah mendapat informasi tentang anak Ronggoweni yang termuda, Ranti (Fahrani) yang kini bekerja sebagai penyanyi klub malam, Janus pergi menuju tempat Ranti dan menanyakannya perihal misteri prosa yang dikatakan Ratih. Ranti memperingatkan bahwa kalimat itu tidak boleh diberitahukan kepada orang lain, apabila hal itu dilakukan, salah satu dari kedua orang itu harus mati. Pada saat itu Ranti tengah berjalan pulang dan diculik sekelompok orang, Janus yang melihat, ketahuan oleh para penculik Ranti dan turut membawa Janus. Janus terbangun dan menemukan dirinya terikat di depan seorang menteri Budaya, Haryo Wibowo (Arswendi Nasution) yang kini mempertanyakan pembicaraannya dengan Ranti. Lalu, Janus disiram minyak tanah dan dilempari rokok Haryo sebelum Janus berada dalam narkolepsinya.
Eros datang lagi ke TKP pembakaran. Disana lewat keterangan seorang saksi, Eros mendapatkan ciri-ciri perempuan yang meneriaki kelima orang itu maling, hubungan darah dengan salah satu korban, dan kenyataan salah satu korban memakai kalung berbandul laba-laba. Kemudian Eros mendatangi rumah Ronggoweni, disana ia menemui Pindoro kendati tidak dibunuh. Esoknya Eros dan Hendro berbicara mengenai kemerosotan moral dan kolaps yang terjadi di negara ini, Hendro berkata bahwa sebentar lagi akan datang Ratu Adil yang akan membawa negara itu pada kemakmuran, namun Eros cenderung skeptis. Hendro juga memberitahu Eros dibicarakan oleh Pak Bambang dan memberitahu Eros bahwa keluarga Ranti itu adalah keluarga ajudan presiden pertama. Erospun mecari berita di perpustakaan dan menemui beberapa informasi seperti pelantikan Ronggoweni dan perburuan harta karun presiden pertama.
Janus terbangun dan berada di ruangan tempat ia disekap, namun sudah kosong. Januspun kembali ke rumahnya dan bertemu dengan Sari. Sari meminta maaf kepada Janus dan pada malam itu mereka kembali berhubungan. Pada paginya, Janus menceritakan perihal kalimat Ratih kepada Sari, dan Sari tahu lokasinya. Kemudian Sari pergi ke boks telepon dan memberitahu Haryo tentang lokasi harta itu. Dan mereka berdua bertemu di luar kota, Sari ditembak Haryo dan Haryo yang saat itu sudah mengetahui lokasinya, dikejar oleh Pindoro dan berakhir dengan kepalanya yang terpenggal. Janus yang berada di jalan menemukan liputan TV yang menayangkan kematian Sari, terpukul, Janus pergi ke atas gedung dan loncat dari sana. Janus kemudian dikembalikan ke tempat tidurnya oleh Pindoro secara misterius saat Janus yang loncat terkena narkolepsi, lalu sekelompok orang datang dan menyekapnya, meminta Janus menunjukkan lokasi harta itu, dan sang pengkomandonya adalah Pak Bambang dan seorang Menteri.
Di sisi Eros, kini ia dan Hendro tengah bermaksud menggali makam Ronggoweni untuk visum, disana ia bertemu Ranti dan terpaksalah Ranti bercerita. Dikatakan Ronggoweni mengetahui tentang harta karun yang sering diperebutkan dan dicari pejabat, dan hanya boleh ada satu orang yang bisa mengetahui lokasi harta karun tersebut dan lainnya harus mati karenanya. Kakak ipar Ranti, yakni si korban yang dibakar, memaksa Ronggoweni untuk menceritakan lokasi itu kepadanya, setelah sang menantu pergi, Ronggoweni bunuh diri. Si kakak ipar menceritakan lokasi itu kepada kakak Ranti dan keduanya meninggal pada hari yang sama, saat itulah Janus (namun tidak diketahui Hendro, Eros, dan Ranti) mendengar lokasi harta dan menyampaikan bahwa ia tahu lokasinya secara tidak langsung. Mereka bertiga pergi ke perpustakaan untuk mendapat jawaban. Terungkap sejarahnya, harta itu merupakan pemberian raja-raja Nusantara kepada generasi berikutnya, sebagai modal berdirinya negara kesatuan. Presiden pertama yang tahu akibat harta itu akan berbuntut panjang, memerintahkan sembilan orang kepercayaannya untuk menyembunyikan harta itu. Setelah membaca di buku lain, Hendro menemukan fakta mengenai Pindoro. Dan Pindoro tidak bisa membunuh karena dia berasal dari alam gaib, jadi, manusialah yang membunuh orang-orang itu. Pada saat itu, Pindoro berada disamping Ranti dan mereka berdua menghilang bersama.
Seiring kalimat yang dibaca Hendro mengenai ramalan Jayabaya yang mengatakan rahasia harta berbunyi: "Saat negara baru (republik) berusia setengah abad, perebutan harta karun akan semakin hebat. Satu (manusia) akan menjadi pemegang rahasia tersebut yang bisa dipercaya, dia akan dikenal sebagai Sang Penidur", Janus yang tidak mengetahui dirinyalah sang penidur, menceritakan lokasi kepada orang-orang yang berada di bus, niscaya, Pindoro memindahkan Ranti ke bus itu dan Ranti membunuh semua orang kecuali Janus. Akhirnya Janus dipindahkan ke mobil para perencana dan pergi ke lokasi harta. Hendro menarasi lagi, kali ini menerangkan Ranti yang sebenarnya sebagai pelindung sang penidur. Di lokasi harta, saat ingin mengangkut harta-harta tersebut, Ranti datang dan membunuh semua orang kecuali Janus, saat itu Eros yang membuntuti Pak Bambang keluar, dan karena ada dua orang yang mengetahui lokasi harta itu, maka salah seorang dari Janus atau Eros harus mati. Namun kemudian Ranti berlutut dihadapan Eros, terbukalah fakta bahwa Eroslah selama ini sang Ratu Adil dan tujuan Pindoro memperlihatkan wujudnya kepada Eros sebagai pertanda. Akhirnya, Janus, Eros, Ranti, dan Pindoro berjalan berbalik meninggalkan bukit Bendonowongso.
Film diakhiri dengan Hendro yang menarasikan epilog kisahnya: "Pada saatnya, sang penidur akan menyampaikan rahasia harta kepada sang ratu adil. Pemimpin yang akan membawa bangsa ke pintu kemakmuran. Di sebelah bukit ketiganya akan bertemu. Tapi pertemuannya (ketiganya) adalah sebuah perjuangan yang berat. Karena sejak saat itu kejahatan juga akan bersatu untuk membuat mereka gagal. Perang, penyakit, bencana akan datang silih berganti menguji perjuangan mereka."

Synopsis: In 2079, CIA agent Snow (Guy Pearce) is arrested for the murder of undercover agent Frank Armstrong who had uncovered evidence of an agent selling state secrets about the space program. Secret Service director Scott Langral (Peter Stormare) threatens to have Snow incarcerated on the maximum security space penitentiary MS One where prisoners are kept in stasis for their sentence. Snow's agent friend Harry Shaw (Lennie James) tries to locate Snow's contact Mace who knows where Frank's briefcase containing the secret information is hidden.
Meanwhile, Emilie Warnock, (Maggie Grace) daughter of US President Warnock, arrives at MS One to investigate claims that stasis might affect prisoners' minds, leading to psychopathy and dementia. Hydell, a prisoner, is awakened for questioning, but manages to escape. He releases all of the prisoners and starts a riot, led by his brother Alex. Emilie and others are captured. Shaw convinces Langral to send Snow to rescue Emilie rather than risk her life in a siege. Snow is initially reluctant, but agrees after Shaw tells him that Mace is on MS One, and could help Snow prove his innocence. Snow secretly infiltrates MS One. Alex realizes Emilie is the President's daughter and goes to secure her. Emilie manages to escape with her bodyguard Hock and hide in a secure room. A problem with the oxygen supply however causes Hock to commit suicide to give Emilie more time.
Snow breaks into the room and rescues Emilie. Snow changes Emilie's hair to conceal her gender and appearance after the prison is alerted to her true identity, allowing them to walk through the prison population. They find Mace, but the stasis has given him dementia and made him incoherent. Snow and Emilie bring Mace with them as they attempt to reach the escape pod. Without the maintenance of the staff, the prison has begun to fall out of its orbit and crashes into the International Space Station. The collision causes a breach and Mace is killed. Snow brings Emilie to the pod but discovers it has only one seat, and that he has been sent there to die. He sends Emilie on her way, but she allows the pod to launch without her, believing that the remaining hostages will be otherwise killed. Hydell contacts Emilie and threatens the hostages unless she reveals her location. When she does so, he kills all of the hostages.
As Snow and Emilie flee, they discover evidence that the prisoners were being illegally used as test subjects. Alex finds the pair and captures Emilie after shooting Snow and leaving him for dead. When Alex learns that Hydell has killed all of the hostages, he beats Hydell and contacts the President threatening to allow Hydell and the prison population to rape Emilie if they are not released. The President refuses to allow a siege and risk Emilie, causing Langral to temporarily relieve him of his command. Langral orders the destruction of MS One. Hydell tries to rape Emilie as promised, but is stopped by Alex. Infuriated he stabs Alex to death. Emilie fights back and Hydell attempts to stab her, but he is incapacitated by Snow. Snow and Emilie flee from the prisoners and Hydell. Meanwhile Langral's men plant a bomb on the prison. Snow and Emilie use space suits and jump from the ship as it detonates, destroying the prison. The suits allow the pair to re-enter Earth's atmosphere and land safely in New York City.
Snow is arrested. Emilie later realizes that Mace's seemingly incoherent rambling was the location of and password needed to access Frank's briefcase. Armed with the briefcase, Snow meets with Shaw. Shaw immediately unlocks it to see the evidence, but finds it empty. Snow notes that he had not given the unlock code to Shaw, and Shaw is revealed as the mole and arrested. Snow is released and his possessions returned, including a lighter given to him by Frank before his death. Snow finds a memory card containing the real secret information hidden within it. Emilie meets Snow and teases him, having learned his first name is Marion. The pair walk away together.
Synopsis: Film producer James Ballard and his wife, Catherine, are in an open marriage. The couple engage in various infidelities, but between them have only unenthusiastic sex. Their arousal is heightened by discussing the intimate details of their extramarital sex.
While driving home from work late one night, Ballard's car collides head-on with another, killing its male passenger. While trapped in the fused wreckage, the driver, Dr. Helen Remington, wife of the killed passenger, exposes a breast to Ballard when she pulls off the shoulder harness of her seat belt. While recovering, Ballard meets Remington again, as well as a man named Vaughan, who takes a keen interest in the brace holding Ballard's shattered leg together and photographs it. While leaving the hospital, Remington and Ballard begin an affair, one primarily fueled by their shared experience of the car crash (not only do all of their sexual assignations take place in cars, all of Remington's off-screen sexual encounters take place in cars as well). In an attempt to make some sense of why they are so aroused by their car wreck, they go to see one of Vaughan's cult meetings/performance pieces, an actual recreation of the car crash that killed James Dean with authentic cars and stunt drivers. When Transport Ministry officials break up the event Ballard flees with Remington and Vaughan.
Ballard becomes one of Vaughan's followers who fetishise car accidents, obsessively watching car safety test videos and photographing traffic accident sites. Ballard drives Vaughan's Lincoln convertible around the city while Vaughan picks up and uses street prostitutes, and later Ballard's wife. In turn, Ballard has a dalliance with one of the other group members, Gabrielle (Rosanna Arquette), a beautiful woman whose legs are clad in restrictive steel braces, and who has a vulva-like scar on the back of one of her thighs, which is used as a substitute for a vagina by Ballard. The film's sexual couplings in (or involving) cars are not restricted to heterosexual experiences. While watching videos of car crashes, Remington becomes extremely aroused and gropes the crotches of both Ballard and Gabrielle, suggesting an imminent ménage à trois. In fact, Vaughan and Ballard eventually turn towards each other and have homosexual acts while later, Gabrielle and Remington have a lesbian arousal leading to lesbian sexual acts.
Though Vaughan claims at first that he is interested in the "reshaping of the human body by modern technology," in fact his project is to live out the philosophy that the car crash is a "fertilizing rather than a destructive event, mediating the sexuality of those who have died with an intensity that's impossible in any other form."
The film's climax begins with Vaughan's death and ends with Ballard being involved in another semi-deliberate car accident, this one involving his wife. Their fetish for car crashes has, ironically enough, had an unusual bonding effect on the Ballards' marriage. As he caresses her bruised body in the grass median near the accident, Ballard and his wife display affection for ending with Ballard reacting, "Maybe next time" possibly implying that the logical end result of their extreme fetish is death.

Synopsis: ACP Malvika Chauhan(Sushmita Sen) is a widowed cop having a 10-year-old daughter. She is saddled with the murder case of a reputed businessman, where the killer has left no evidence. Before she can get into the investigation, a famous heroine is killed. Malvika suspects that it might be the work of a serial killer.
Investigation reveals that both the victims had no connection. Plus, even the suspects with motives were not near the crime scenes. Suddenly Malvika realizes that somebody is stalking her. Malvika accosts her stalker, but he reveals that he was just doing it for a criminal named Usman. As Usman has that much expertise to kill someone without leaving evidence, Malvika thinks she has got a killer for at least one case. But when Malvika goes to Usman's house, she finds Usman dead.
Again out of leads, Malvika starts going through case files of all 3 victims. She finds 4 connections:- 1] All were best people in their fields. 2] All had a poor eyesight with eye power -2. 3] All ordered their spectacles from the same shop 4] The position of their hands on the crime scene indicated their time of death.
Malvika goes to the shop to investigate, where the assistant says that her eyesight is perfect, but her vision is very weak. Malvika does not realize what he means, but after learning that the assistant did not turn up that day, she realizes that she talked with the killer (whom she could not see, as the room was dark).
A frustrated Malvika sends her associate (Sushant Singh) to investigate the whereabouts of the killer, while she tries to figure out who the next target is. She finds that a renowned musician, who also has a power of -2, is the customer of the shop and is performing the same evening. Malvika arranges for a tight security, but the musician is not killed by the killer even after the given time.
Meanwhile, Malvika's associate finds out that the killer's name is Amod Parekh(Jackie Shroff). Amod reveals himself to Malvika in front of the musician. Amod explains that he was also a graduate from the '94 batch of police academy, the same batch from which Malvika graduated. He explains that his credentials were much better than Malvika's, but he was toppled, as he had poor eyesight with power -2.
Amod vents out his anger by saying that this same fault did not affect the lives of his victims, in fact they became famous. He also goes on to say that he did not want to kill them, but time was not on their side as somebody else too had motive to kill them. Malvika thinks that he is trying to prove that she has lost and he has proved himself a genius, if not as a cop, then as a killer.
Malvika asks why Amod did not kill the musician. Suddenly her associate arrives with a broken pair of glasses. Amod tells her that her daughter was a perfect daughter of a best cop. He clarifies that he killed her daughter instead who also has an eyesight power of -2. Malvika's associate begs her to not to kill the killer, as he wants her to do the same. However, an angry Malvika shoots the killer dead.
